What I'm looking for

I'm seeking research opportunities focused on electrochemistry, corrosion science, surface and interfacial engineering, and battery materials, where I can develop durable materials and electrolyte strategies for sustainable energy storage.

I'm developing protective anode interfaces and electrolyte strategies for aluminium-air and magnesium-air batteries at the Indian Institute of Technology Ropar.

My research investigates corrosion, self-discharge, hydrogen evolution, and interfacial degradation in aluminium and magnesium, using coatings and additives to improve stability and metal utilization. I've published work on protective Al-air battery interfaces, Mg-air batteries, aqueous zinc-sulfur batteries, and sustainable energy storage.

I combine electrochemical testing with surface and materials characterization, including EIS, Tafel analysis, SEM/EDS, XPS, FTIR, Raman, and PXRD, to identify degradation mechanisms and optimize performance.
