Pukar Kafle

I'm contributing to water supply and sanitation infrastructure design at Building Design Authority (P) Ltd., including the Bhardaha Water Supply System, Kavre Valley rehabilitation, Nijgadh International Airport, and integrated water supply and sewerage projects.

I design transmission and distribution networks using ArcGIS, EPANET, and WaterGEMS, conduct population projections and water-demand calculations, and engineer pump systems, overhead tanks, pipes, and fittings. I also prepare cost and material estimates in Excel, detailed engineering drawings, location maps, bid documents, and design reports.

My project work includes stormwater drainage and sewerage networks at Kanchanrup, Saptari, as well as water supply projects in Karkahawa, Karkando, Ghodsuwa, Syankhudi, Baijanath, and Bheemdutt.

Previously, I worked as a Site Engineer at Himal Group Pvt Ltd on the construction of telecommunication towers. I also completed the detailed design and analysis of a prestressed box girder bridge over Myagdi Khola and presented research on stone pillars of Kathmandu Valley after the Gurkha Earthquake.
