Priya Ramaiah
@priyaramaiah
I'm a neuroscience researcher translating clinical needs into implantable neurotechnology and medical-device solutions.
What I'm looking for
I've supported implantable-device trials at Pulse Cardiovascular Institute, running site research operations in live procedural settings and coordinating patients, investigators, sponsors, and data systems.
My functional neurosurgery and neurophysiology research at the University of Arizona College of Medicine–Phoenix involved intracranial recordings, human cognition, and implantable neurotechnology, contributing to more than 30 publications and presentations. My work includes research on deep brain stimulation, dopamine activity, attention, and cognition.
I've also taught patient-centered clinical communication at Columbia University, analyzed physician-community engagement data at Doximity using Python, and delivered hospital strategy research at The Advisory Board Company.
I'm drawn to Biodesign: finding unmet clinical needs through clinician interviews, translating them into practical device opportunities, and learning through hands-on prototyping and development.
