I’m a compassionate Mental Health & Psychiatry Nurse with a Diploma from Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) Mathare and extensive experience across psychiatric, dialysis, and general nursing settings. I’m currently a Head Nurse/Facility Charge at Comfort Care 360, where I oversee clinical operations, coordinate staff, and lead patient-centered care—conducting mental health assessments, psychiatric evaluations, individualized care planning, and medication monitoring. My dual specialization in psychiatric nursing and renal dialysis helps me deliver integrated care for patients with co-occurring mental and physical health conditions, while maintaining patient safety through risk assessments and crisis intervention.

As a NITA-accredited Certified Nurse Trainer, I’ve developed curriculum, designed nursing training programmes, and mentored healthcare professionals to NITA standards—supporting performance, professional development, and improved student outcomes. In dialysis settings, I applied psychiatric nursing skills during dialysis sessions to manage psychotic episodes, mood disturbances, and treatment non-compliance, including crisis intervention and emotional support for patients and families. I’ve also implemented a mental health screening programme for dialysis patients and helped reduce hospitalisation rates through proactive psychiatric interventions, while successfully de-escalating high-risk crises and achieving a 95% satisfaction rate for mental health support during dialysis sessions.
