Prativa Mishra

I'm currently supporting students at Bouddha International School through confidential individual and group counselling, family counselling, classroom observation, and whole-school wellbeing initiatives. I work with concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma, self-harm, bullying, school refusal, behavioural difficulties, and family conflict.

Previously, I provided counselling at B&B Hospital, Brihaspati Vidyasadan, and in private practice in Melbourne. My work has supported children, adolescents, adults, parents, teachers, and school leaders through coordinated, ethical, client-centred care.

I draw on CBT, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Play Therapy, Person-Centred Therapy, Mindfulness-Based CBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Family Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, and Humanistic Therapy. I also facilitate psychoeducation, parenting sessions, mental health awareness programs, and social-emotional learning initiatives.

With a Master of Counselling from Monash University and a Bachelor of Psychological Science, I'm committed to helping people build autonomy, resilience, and wellbeing through strong therapeutic relationships.
