What I'm looking for

I'm seeking an entry-level medical coding position where I can apply my nursing and clinical knowledge to interpret healthcare documentation, assign accurate diagnosis codes, and continue developing professionally.

I'm beginning my medical coding career by combining my Bachelor of Nursing Science with Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife qualifications.

I've completed medical coding and billing training focused on ICD-10-CM and ICD-11, including realistic diagnosis-coding exercises for osteoarthritis, acute gastritis, acute cystitis, migraine, fractures, and musculoskeletal injuries.

I interpret clinical documentation, identify diagnosis specificity and laterality, recognize encounter requirements, and select appropriate ICD-10-CM codes. I also have foundational knowledge of CPT and HCPCS coding concepts.

I'm looking to bring my clinical reasoning, attention to detail, and commitment to accurate healthcare documentation to an entry-level medical coding role while continuing to develop as a reliable medical coder.
