At Gujarat Biotechnology Research Center, I work as a Junior Research Fellow on research involving human and animal viruses. My work includes CRISPR-based gene editing and Prime Editing, alongside cell culture and molecular techniques.
As an apprentice in the Safety Pharmacology Department at Zydus Research Center, I performed antibacterial assays, virus propagation, and experiments examining the in-vivo efficacy of compounds. I also completed GLP training and worked with animal models.
For my M.Sc. dissertation, I isolated 11 marine bacteria and studied exopolysaccharide production, optimization, characterization, and applications. I also isolated Priestia filamentosa and submitted its sequence to NCBI.
