What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a hands-on biotechnology role where I can run microbial diagnostics (serotyping/AST), perform molecular biology work (DNA/RNA, PCR, gels), and contribute to research with strong documentation and biosafety.

I’m a B.Tech Biotechnology student and research intern who enjoys turning lab results into reliable insights. My work spans microbial serotyping, Antibiotic Susceptibility Testing (AST), and aseptic microbiology practices, including IMViC, TSI, and pure culture maintenance.

Across my internships, I’ve also developed strong molecular biology capabilities: DNA/RNA isolation, PCR and thermal cycler operation, agarose gel electrophoresis, and primer design principles for PCR/qPCR-based applications. I document experiments carefully, follow biosafety and quality-control habits, and stay precise with sample preparation, micropipetting, and laboratory instrumentation.

I’m especially motivated by research in “Medical Biotechnology & Diagnostics,” microbial technology, and “Gene Therapy & Molecular Medicine,” and I’m building toward my B.Tech dissertation on Antibiotic Susceptibility Testing and ESBL phenotypic detection from bacterial isolates in environmental samples. I’m seeking a team where scientific rigor, mentorship, and impactful research are valued.

Research Intern - Floriculture

Jun 2025 - Jul 2025 (1 month)

Performed molecular biology lab work including genomic DNA and total RNA isolation, and conducted PCR with thermal cycler operations. Ran agarose gel electrophoresis for nucleic acid analysis and learned primer design principles for PCR/qPCR applications with strong documentation and sterile technique practices.
