I’m a Qualified Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, with CMA Inter completed from the Institute of Cost Accountants of India. I’m currently working as a Revenue Accountant, and I bring a disciplined, detail-first approach to contract review, invoice readiness, and revenue accuracy aligned to ASC 606.
In my roles across Greenway Health, Pegasystems, and Cerner, I’ve owned revenue recognition for cloud, license, maintenance, subscriptions, professional services, and managed services. I ensure correct setup of terms and conditions in systems, perform deal review and month-end closing, and handle deferred revenue and unbilled revenue journal entries with supporting documentation.
I also focus on improving the way work gets done: I automate manual tasks using Excel formulas and Power BI dashboards to reduce effort and improve reporting efficiency. I’ve supported SAP UAT testing for revenue recognition enhancements, coordinated across Finance/Legal/IT/Sales Ops to resolve billing and process improvements, and contributed to internal and external audit support.
