At GMV Innovating Solutions S.R., I was the principal developer of GENDARED, a data reduction framework for detecting and tracking orbital objects in optical telescope imagery. I also served as Software Technical Lead on EU SST and COSST projects, including delivery of the solution to OHB Digital and the German military SST Centre.
As a freelance / consulting engineer, I work on computer vision, scientific data pipelines, high-performance C++ software and autonomy systems. Earlier, at INAF / IASF Bologna, I developed software for robotic telescope interfaces, astronomical camera drivers and an astrophysical image database.
My work spans observational astrophysics and software development, from telescope image acquisition through detection, analysis, visualisation and archiving. I contributed to the XMM-LSS survey and the ILMT project, and GENDARED has been cited in peer-reviewed publications.
