Piero Meza Marin

I’m a Software Engineering (International Dual Degree) student building practical, user-focused software and applying ML/AI to real problems. I’ve worked in high-volume, English-speaking environments, and I value clear communication, fast iteration, and quality under pressure.

Through thesis collaboration, I developed a Metabolic Syndrome Monitoring System mobile frontend in React Native and Expo, creating interactive dashboards, time-trend charts, and a simulated clinical-sources chatbot. I also built a hierarchical Bayesian predictive model with PyMC (MCMC) using historical data processing in Pandas/NumPy and clear visualizations.

My interests also extend to automation and security: I created a modular Python voice assistant using Google Speech Recognition plus Hugging Face semantic similarity, and I earned a Cybersecurity Bootcamp certification covering risk management and vulnerability analysis. I’m an active member of the Computer Science Research Group (GICC – USIL) and ranked Top Fifth (Quinto Superior) in my program.
