What I'm looking for

I’m most useful where a company needs one leader who understands the product, the engineering, and the operation that delivers both.

I am an operations and product leader based in Budapest. I take COO, chief of staff and head of operations roles next to a founder: full-time, on interim mandates, or as a fractional COO for one to three days a week.

At Transcend, a venture-backed B2B SaaS company that automates the design of water and power infrastructure, I took over a software team of 3 in 2018 and grew it into a Budapest engineering centre of more than 60 people. As Managing Director of the European entity I grew it from 20 to 85 people and was accountable for its budget, compliance and board reporting. As VP Product I led strategy and roadmap as the platform grew from a single wastewater module into the power and water markets. The substation product I led won a 2024 Edison Award.

Before that I led engineering services at Organica Water, with 50 people in Hungary, India, China and Indonesia. Earlier I founded and ran an automation services company, and I started my career as an automation engineer.

Technical companies from the founding team up to about 100 people suit me best, especially in engineering-heavy fields. I work in Hungarian, English and German, remote or hybrid, and I do not plan to relocate.

Assessed data centre substations and advised against entry
Cut average release slip from 5 days to half a day by dropping low-value steps and automating handoffs
