I’m a junior software developer and IT graduate with hands-on experience supporting software systems, resolving operational issues, and performing systems analysis in structured, regulated environments. I apply a strong foundation in Java, SQL, and scripting to keep database-driven applications stable and available.

In my recent IT support work at South African Airways, I handled first-line support for hardware, software, and connectivity problems while logging and managing incidents in ServiceNow. I also supported user account creation and access management using Active Directory, and installed/updated applications to maintain functionality and security.

In my current Flight Simulator Maintenance Intern/Junior Systems Developer role, I support production systems through configuration validation, service availability checks, and log analysis. I assist with approved updates and configuration changes under formal change-control procedures, and I conduct functional testing and post-maintenance validation to confirm expected behavior.

I’m especially motivated by automation and data reliability—developing scripts that reconcile datasets, identify inconsistencies, and improve reporting accuracy. My projects include an Asset Management and Data Automation system, legacy database modernisation with SQL Server migration support, and technical analysis for upgrade planning using vendor documentation.
