Parth Patel
@parthpatel13
Data science and cloud/HPC intern building Python-driven analytics, ML models, and dashboards for data-driven decisions.
What I'm looking for
I’m a Computer Science & Data Science student at Rutgers University (Dean’s List 2024–2026), and I’m currently building real-world data skills through internships in data science and cloud/HPC engineering. In my work, I focus on turning messy, complex datasets into usable insights—using Python, SQL, and visualization to support confident decision-making.
As a Data Science Intern for the Federal Aviation Administration (via Noblis), I used Python to clean, preprocess, and structure 1,000+ air traffic and maintenance records, then built SQL queries to analyze operational activity and safety-relevant status updates. I also designed and published interactive Tableau dashboards to a SharePoint site. Recently, I supported digital infrastructure work at RTX by running engineering simulation workloads on Rescale’s cloud HPC, accelerating migrations from on-prem HPC to the Rescale platform, and helping deploy Domino Data Lab on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) with Oracle Kubernetes Engine (OKE). Through projects like regression-based market prediction and machine-learning traffic forecasting (Prophet, geospatial tooling, and an interactive Streamlit app), I’ve strengthened how I model patterns, evaluate performance, and deliver results people can actually use.

Event Coordinator
BAPS Campus Fellowship (BCF)
Mar 2024 - Present (2 years 5 months)
Coordinated campus cultural and service events by managing logistics, coordinating volunteers, and leading outreach to engage diverse audiences. Collaborated with other student organizations and campus departments to expand participation and strengthen community connections.
Executed engineering simulation workloads on Rescale's cloud HPC platform by selecting optimal compute resources and monitoring job execution. Migrated workflows from on-premises HPC to Rescale cloud and supported Domino Data Lab deployment validation on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
Data Science Intern
Federal Aviation Administration (via Noblis)
Nov 2025 - May 2026 (6 months)
Used Python to clean, preprocess, and structure 1,000+ FAA air traffic and maintenance records, handling missing values and data inconsistencies. Wrote SQL queries for activity/maintenance analysis and created Tableau dashboards published to SharePoint for operational decision-making.
