Critical care RN and preceptor delivering multidisciplinary, high-acuity ICU care.
What I'm looking for
I’m a Senior Specialty RN with charge, preceptor, and bedside experience in a Medicine Intensive Care Unit at Parkland Health. I partner with multidisciplinary ICU teams to deliver care for patients with respiratory failure, sepsis, multiple organ failure, renal failure, overdoses, and complications from chronic disease.
I frequently charge over a 35-bed unit, coordinating with bed access management and nursing administration to properly downgrade and move patients to PCU/Floor and to support admitting RAT calls, post codes, and new ICU patients. I’ve also floated across ICUs (SICU, NSICU, CVICU, BICU) while managing designated patients.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, I supported high-acuity care for two patients with, at times, 12 drips per patient. I’m trained for advanced therapies including US PIV, CRRT, PD Dialysis, and Swan—along with CPR/BLS/ACLS certification.
Before nursing, I built experience in clinical research finance and medical device sales, including coordinating clinical trials by reviewing patient records and training physicians on device use in procedures like EGDs, EUSs, colonoscopies, and ERCPs. I bring a team-first mindset shaped by leadership roles and honors, including cum laude graduation and a full ride volleyball scholarship.
