What I'm looking for

I am looking for a role that allows me to innovate in education, collaborate with diverse teams, and contribute to student success in a supportive environment.

I am a dedicated and motivated instructor with over 25 years of teaching experience, including 8 years in middle and high school education. My journey has been marked by a commitment to facilitating student success and fostering academic growth in a positive and safe learning environment. I have developed expertise in online and virtual instruction, utilizing various instructional software to enhance learning outcomes.

Throughout my career, I have worked extensively with diverse student populations, including those with special needs, and have implemented effective classroom management strategies. My experience includes preparing lesson plans aligned with Common Core State Standards, maintaining Google Classrooms, and organizing engaging class events. I pride myself on my adaptability and collaborative approach, which has allowed me to create inclusive learning environments that cater to the needs of all students.

In addition to my teaching roles, I have held leadership positions, such as Head of Department, where I managed and motivated both students and staff towards excellence. My background in interior design and project management further enriches my teaching philosophy, as I incorporate creative problem-solving and critical thinking into my lessons. I am passionate about continuous improvement and am always seeking opportunities to grow professionally.
