Paolo Domingo

I started my career as a full-stack Java engineer, which gave me a strong technical foundation across banking, e-commerce, and energy systems. Over time, I naturally gravitated toward the people and process side of engineering — becoming a Scrum Master, then Project Manager, then Agile Coach, and eventually leading entire engineering departments.

For the past several years, I've been Director of Engineering Delivery at Sprout Solutions, one of the Philippines' leading HR & Payroll SaaS companies. I oversee three departments — Agile Delivery, Software Development, and QA — across 14 teams. One of my proudest achievements there is leading Project Aurora, our company-wide shift to AI agentic engineering, where we moved teams from traditional workflows to agent-assisted, expert-backed development.

I'm also the first Certified Disciplined Agile Coach in the Philippines, and I hold certifications in SAFe, Scrum, Azure, and Design Sprint facilitation. Alongside my day job, I've been doing fractional consulting work for a Canadian client as a part-time Product Owner, handling roadmap, backlog, and SEO strategy.

My core interests sit at the intersection of engineering leadership, AI transformation, and organizational change. I get energized helping companies figure out how to adopt AI in ways that are practical, human-centered, and sustainable — not just chasing trends. I'm looking for part-time or fractional engagements where I can bring that experience to teams that are ready to grow.
