Ovie Jerry Ake

I am a machine learning practitioner with hands-on experience building predictive models, NLP pipelines, and data-driven solutions for real-world problems. I translate business problems into reproducible machine learning workflows in remote and asynchronous environments.

My work spans classification and regression projects including churn prediction, price modeling, financial inclusion analysis, and social media sentiment classification. I emphasize feature engineering, model evaluation, and error analysis to deliver actionable insights.

I have experience working both as a data scientist and as a data/product analyst on cross-functional teams.

I hold a B.Eng. in Electrical & Electronics Engineering and a Diploma in Data Science, AI & Machine Learning, and I use Python, scikit-learn, SQL, and standard data tooling to prototype and productionize models responsibly.
