Omelia Collins

I am an industrious, goal-oriented teacher-in-training pursuing a BEd TVET in Construction Technology at the University of Technology, Jamaica, and I bring strong leadership experience from secondary school. I was Valedictorian and served as Head Girl, roles that sharpened my communication and organizational skills.

I have led student organizations as President of the Key Club and Culture Club and participated across many extracurriculars, demonstrating a commitment to community, teamwork, and school culture. I have volunteer experience working with children and supporting events, including roles in inventory management and as a master of ceremonies.

Academically I completed seven CSEC subjects including IT, Technical Drawing, Principles of Accounts, Biology, Building & Furniture Technology, Mathematics, and English A, and I completed an online course in appointment setting which strengthened my digital literacy and administrative abilities.

I am passionate about serving others and helping people reach their goals; I seek opportunities where I can contribute positively, continue learning, and apply my leadership, communication, and problem-solving strengths in educational or community-focused roles.
