At the Pan American Development Foundation (PADF), I led Organizational Capacity Assessments of civil-society and worker organizations, including indigenous, Afro-descendant and Garifuna partners. I turned assessment findings into evidence-based capacity-strengthening plans and provided coaching and technical assistance across El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras.
For PADF’s Collective Labor Action Project, I designed the USDOL-required Comprehensive Monitoring and Evaluation Plan and Performance Monitoring Plan. I also authored technical progress reports and represented the M&E function in meetings with the donor.
At Banyan Global, I developed the USAID Youth Employment Project’s M&E plan and more than 20 performance indicators, and designed a beneficiary-tracking database. The project’s learning culture received the 2019 CLA Excellence Award from Banyan Global and USAID.
Today, as an independent consultant, I design MEAL systems and monitoring frameworks, support local organizations with planning tools, and turn monitoring data into learning and decision-making. I also teach postgraduate courses at UNITEC, drawing on my experience in project management, research methodology and international cooperation.
