I’m an analytically driven professional seeking a Data Analyst Internship to transition fully into data analytics. My background is rooted in Human Resources, but data analysis has been a consistent and central part of every role I’ve held.

Over 10 years, I generate data-driven reports using Excel, HRIS systems, Power BI, SQL, and Python—then translate insights into clear recommendations for business decisions. I’m especially focused on extracting trends from raw data and communicating findings with precision and context.

In my recent HR role (seconded to NIPCO GAS LTD / AMOCON LTD), I analyzed raw attendance data from ZKT 5.0 using Excel to produce monthly trend reports on absenteeism and late arrivals. I also built monthly overtime reports to track employee engagement and financial cost trends for better budget planning, while maintaining and analyzing leave records in the HRIS system to ensure data integrity.

Now I’m deepening my technical skills through current certifications—AXIA Africa and DEXA Data Analyst programmes—covering Excel, Power BI, SQL, and Python. I’m eager to apply and grow these skills in a dedicated internship environment where I can keep strengthening my analytics, data storytelling, and problem-solving impact.
