At West Indian Ocean Cable Company (WIOCC), I deliver high-capacity services for Google, Meta, and Amazon. This includes 12 Tbps of DWDM/OTN capacity for Google over the Equiano Submarine Cable.
I lead installation, configuration, integration, testing, and upgrades of optical and IP equipment, turning up 10G, 100G, and 400G capacity. I work with customer, design, and network teams to translate capacity requirements into implementation plans.
When the West Africa subsea cable cuts affected clients and ISPs in March 2024, I restored service by lighting up capacity on the Equiano Submarine Cable. I also troubleshoot service issues end to end and validate circuits before handover.
Previously, at Airtel Networks Limited, I led telecom, satellite, RF, and optical systems deployment across multi-vendor 3G/4G/5G networks and managed platform migrations between Huawei, Ericsson, and Nokia. My work also includes Python scripting for configuration and validation workflows.
