Olamide Olubunmi

I am a geographer and peace scholar with practical experience in governance, community outreach, and geographic information systems. I combine academic training in Peace, Security and Humanitarian Studies with hands-on NGO and field experience to advance peaceful, well-governed communities.

I have volunteered with organizations promoting peace and good governance across Nigeria and West Africa, supporting programs, communications/IT, research, and school-based peace advocacy. I contribute dependable program support and stakeholder engagement skills.

My professional experience includes teaching junior secondary students during national service, where I developed lesson plans, assessments, and safe learning environments, and a brief role in outbound customer relations and sales for a UK campaign that strengthened my communication and problem-solving abilities.

I also completed an industrial GIS traineeship producing maps and project reports using ArcGIS. I bring strong written and verbal communication, Microsoft Office proficiency, critical thinking, time management, adaptability, and client-focused problem solving to roles in program support, peacebuilding, and GIS applications.
