Olamide Folorunso

I’m a results-driven Computer Science graduate focused on cloud infrastructure, DevOps tooling, and IT systems administration. I enjoy turning infrastructure into reliable, repeatable systems through automation and Infrastructure as Code.

I’ve provisioned AWS environments with EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, and Security Groups using Terraform, including least-privilege access control and safe team deployments via S3 remote state with state locking. I’ve also debugged real-world IAM permission issues and Free Tier eligibility conflicts to keep deployments on track.

My hands-on work extends into observability and containerisation: I built a monitoring pipeline with Node Exporter → Prometheus → Grafana, created dashboards for CPU, memory, and disk usage, and explored alerting rules. I’ve containerised a Python application with Docker and resolved networking issues in WSL to ensure smooth local execution.

I’m actively building CI/CD and Kubernetes skills through an academy-based DevOps Engineering programme covering AWS, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, Linux, Git, monitoring, and CI/CD. From my IT consultant and first-line support experience, I bring a strong uptime mindset—diagnosing issues quickly, restoring services with minimal downtime, and continuously improving how teams deploy and operate systems.
