Oladotun Omogunwa

I am an accounting student at the University of Lagos with practical experience in corporate banking, financial control, and student financial leadership. I combine academic achievement with hands-on internships and volunteer work to deliver accurate financial reporting and improved operational outcomes.

During a summer internship at Guarantee Trust Holding Company, I reconciled 20+ corporate accounts involving large transaction volumes, ensured on-time reporting, and helped resolve a delayed high-value settlement through cross-team coordination. I have also coordinated events and outreach as a student ambassador for the European Union Unilag, managing budgets and increasing student participation.

As Vice President of Finance for Junior Achievement of Nigeria (ISL Branch), I oversaw fundraising and disbursement, sold shares to grow capital, and advised company executives on financial strategies that improved performance. I additionally volunteer as a financial tutor and support social media and accounting tasks for community organizations.

I am pursuing professional accounting qualifications (ICAN, AAT) and expanding technical skills in web development and virtual assistant tools. I bring attention to detail, strong communication, and a commitment to accurate financial management.
