I've built backend systems for Scalefocus and Tide that process high-volume order, payment, and account events. At Scalefocus, I own an AKS-based Node.js and TypeScript fulfillment microservice suite processing 50k daily order events.

I design event-driven integrations with Azure Service Bus, REST APIs with OpenAPI and OAuth2, and resilient consumers with retries, idempotency, exponential backoff, and poison-queue handling. I improved key API latency from 380ms to 120ms and reduced cross-service incident resolution time by 40% through OpenTelemetry and Dynatrace tracing.

At Tide, I developed payment and account services handling 200k requests a day, decomposed a monolith into microservices, and reduced CI build times by 35%. I’ve also built Python ETL pipelines handling 10M records per day at SoftServe and payment gateway integrations at Paysafe.

I enjoy owning services end-to-end, from architecture and delivery through on-call response and runbooks. I mentor engineers on TypeScript practices, testing, code review, and operational standards.
