Driven and detail-oriented Security Operations Center Analyst supporting cybersecurity operations for government clients. Though I do not have any formal cybersecurity qualifications, I have quickly learned on the job and developed expertise in monitoring, detecting and responding to security incidents.
I am currently working as an Security Operations Center Analyst supporting the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) of Singapore. I analyze security events and alerts to identify potential cyber threats, and escalate incidents to appropriate response teams.
Though I do not have a degree in IT or cybersecurity, I have well-developed technical skills gained through hands-on experience. I started my career as a Technical Support Representative in Tuas and Woodlands checkpoint , where I honed my troubleshooting and communication abilities. I bring a customer service-oriented mindset to my work as a SOC Analyst, focusing on promptly detecting and resolving issues to guarantee system uptime and data integrity.

During this time, I was responsible for monitoring and analyzing security events and alerts from various sources, including SIEM systems, network and host-based intrusion detection systems, and other security tools. I conducted vulnerability assessments, penetration testing and vulnerability scanning.
