What I'm looking for

I’m looking to build zero-to-production Azure data platform pipelines—Medallion-style ETL/ELT, strong data quality and lineage, and automated CI/CD monitoring—on a remote, cross-cultural team that ships analytics-ready data for BI and ML.

I’m a Senior Data Engineer with 5+ years architecting enterprise ETL/ELT pipelines, cloud data lakes, and medallion-architecture data warehouses on Microsoft Azure. I focus on turning raw, multi-source data into analytics-ready datasets that teams can trust.

Currently at Syntivis AG (remote, Berlin), I deliver production Azure Data Factory pipelines ingesting REST APIs, XML, CSV, and AWS S3 into PostgreSQL landing zones and Azure Data Lake Gold layers. I implement Medallion Architecture (Bronze → Silver → Gold) and use Python/PySpark to transform data for BI and data science needs.

Previously at Wiseman Innovations, I architected multi-source ETL using Azure Data Factory and SSIS—moving data from APIs and relational sources into PostgreSQL staging, then into enterprise DWH. I’ve built dimensional models (Star/Snowflake schemas), documented end-to-end ETL design specs, and enabled automation from staging through the Gold layer to improve data freshness.

I also bring a strong data operations background from my Database Administrator/Developer experience—covering SQL Server administration, performance tuning, HA/DR, and SSRS reporting.
