Norbert Briones

I’m a QA Automation Engineer with a background in software development and enterprise systems configuration. My professional QA experience includes creating and maintaining Tricentis Tosca tests, managing test execution and reporting in qTest, testing REST APIs with Postman, and investigating processing results and data discrepancies using SQL and Splunk.

I’ve worked across application workflows, APIs, environments, and downstream processing. My earlier development and configuration experience helps me trace issues across those layers and document reproducible defects for investigation and retesting.

My experience includes functional and regression testing, defect documentation, legacy-to-modern comparisons, feature-flag validation, and messaging checks involving Kafka and IBM MQ. Tools and environments have included Jira, DB2, DBeaver, Tosca, qTest, Postman, Testim, and Splunk.

Separately, I build personal, AI-assisted QA projects with Playwright, Python, pytest, and API contract testing. They use synthetic applications and data, and are learning/demo projects—not employer work or production services.
