What I'm looking for

I am looking for a role that allows me to foster literacy and learning in a supportive environment, with opportunities for professional growth and collaboration.

I am a dedicated educator committed to helping young adults enhance their writing, reading, and study skills through student-centered tutoring approaches. My experience includes grading writing assignments and providing actionable, strengths-based feedback, ensuring that each student receives the support they need to succeed academically.

Currently, I work as an Academic Coach at Regent University, where I assist over 12 students weekly in improving their writing and reading skills. My role involves managing Drop-In Hour sessions and hosting group-coaching sessions on effective study strategies. I also have experience as a Teaching Assistant, providing meaningful feedback on assignments for middle and high school students, which has honed my ability to communicate effectively and foster academic growth.

With a Master of Education in progress and a TEFL/TESOL certification, I am well-equipped to support diverse learners. I believe in upholding academic integrity and maintaining a professional tone in all interactions, reflecting my Christian character and commitment to education.
