What I'm looking for

I’m looking to grow in roles that combine clinical care with evidence-based public health and digital health research—especially in rural settings. I want opportunities to lead monitoring & evaluation, strengthen data-driven decisions, and deliver patient-centered care.

I’m a public health-oriented medical doctor combining clinical practice with digital health research. I bring over 2 years of clinical experience in rural healthcare settings and more than 2 years of research involvement in digital health interventions, with a strong commitment to patient-centered care and NGO healthcare services.

As a Medical Officer at Rasuwa Hospital, I provide comprehensive primary and inpatient medical care using evidence-based assessment and management for acute and chronic conditions. I prioritize and manage high patient volumes in OPD and ward settings while maintaining quality and safety under pressure, and I coordinate timely referrals and follow-up to ensure continuity of care. I also maintain accurate clinical documentation and reports to support patient care and audits, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to strengthen case reviews and care plans.

My research work is focused on community-based implementation and monitoring & evaluation with data-driven decision-making. I’m assisting research coordination of a “cloud in the hills” cluster randomized trial on the effect of a patient-involved mobile phone and cloud-based electronic contact and recording system on institutional deliveries and other maternal and infant health outcomes. I support data collection and analysis for digital health systems, assist mobile-based health intervention implementation, coordinate with field teams and stakeholders, contribute to report writing and dissemination, and conduct interviews (KII) and focus group discussions (FGDs) among pregnant ladies.

Beyond hospital and trial work, I’ve volunteered as a physician with the Himalayan Rescue Association, providing primary and emergency care in a high-altitude aid post while triaging and managing altitude-related illnesses. I’ve also supported public health and crisis coordination efforts, including medical support during the COVID-19 crisis and community prevention work such as dengue eradication facilitation and dengue prevention campaigns. I actively strengthen my practice through training in clinical research, qualitative research, primary emergency care, infection prevention and control, and BLS/ACLS, pairing strong communication and teamwork with quality assurance and preventative care.
