What I'm looking for

I am seeking a role that fosters innovation and allows me to tackle complex challenges in cybersecurity.

I am a research-driven software engineer with over three years of experience specializing in malware analysis, machine learning, and scalable backend systems. My journey in technology has been marked by a passion for innovation and a commitment to building tools that have a global security impact. I have a proven track record in developing detection models and reverse-engineering Android applications, which has allowed me to contribute significantly to the field of cybersecurity.

At Check Point Software Technologies, I designed and developed machine learning and heuristic models that increased malware detection signatures by tenfold, resulting in double the signature coverage and a remarkable 70% reduction in false positives. My ability to revive legacy codebases and enhance underutilized detection engines has transformed them into valuable assets within the malware detection pipeline. I take pride in my technical skills, particularly in utilizing YARA for creating malware detection rules and conducting reverse engineering of over 200 Android applications.

In addition to my work experience, I have developed web applications and automated workflows during my time as a Research Assistant at The Computerized Neurotherapy Lab. My academic background in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem has equipped me with a solid foundation in machine learning and software development. I am fluent in English and a native Hebrew speaker, which allows me to communicate effectively in diverse environments.
