What I'm looking for

I’m looking for Public Health Officer, Research Assistant, or Health Program Support roles where I can strengthen primary health care, vaccine-preventable disease control, and evidence-based monitoring with strong community engagement and cross-sector coordination.

I am a dedicated Public Health Professional with field-tested experience supporting WHO-assisted immunization campaigns, local government health programs, and community-based interventions. I focus on strengthening equitable health outcomes through evidence-based practice, careful monitoring, and cross-sector collaboration.

As an Independent Monitor with WHO in Nigeria, I conducted systematic household and community-level coverage monitoring during the Measles-Rubella (MR) immunization campaign. Using independent monitoring tools, I helped identify zero-dose and under-vaccinated children to support targeted mop-up vaccination, while collecting and verifying data from over 200 households. I also coordinated with LGA health teams and community leaders to resolve access barriers and produced field reports highlighting coverage gaps, challenges, and recommendations.

During my Public Health Officer placement with NYSC at an LGA Health Authority, I led community sensitization that reached over 500 households. I supported planning and delivery of routine immunization (RI) outreach clinics and supplemental immunization activities (SIAs) with LGA health workers, while maintaining health records and registers aligned with HMIS reporting standards. I served as a liaison between the LGA health department and community stakeholders to improve trust and program uptake.

I bring strong capability in independent monitoring, health data collection and management, and behavior change communication (BCC). I’m comfortable working with digital tools such as ODK and KoboCollect, reporting in DHIS2, and using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Workspace, and I’ve completed WHO independent monitoring (MR) and training related to Polio eradication (nOPV2). I’m ready to contribute as a Public Health Officer and support research and health program delivery with a community-centered, quality-first approach.
