Nilanjana Rai

I’m a results-driven Social Science educator for Classes IX and X, focused on fostering academic excellence, critical thinking, and confident student participation. In my current role as a TGT, I translate educational objectives into high-quality learning experiences and consistently aim for measurable outcomes.

I’m honored with the Best Performer Award for achieving outstanding results in the Class X CBSE Board Examination (2024 and 2025). I actively use teaching and mentoring to build strong understanding, not just performance—supporting students through academic guidance and structured classroom engagement.

Beyond regular teaching, I manage and mentor students in co-curricular academics such as Model United Nations (MUN), quizzes, and other scholastic events. As Head of Academic Activities, I coordinate and oversee programs to strengthen leadership, communication, and critical thinking among students.

In previous roles, I observed and evaluated students’ performance, behaviour, social development, and physical health, and I evaluated and revised lesson plans and course content for more student-centred learning. I also bring project-style organization to classroom processes—adopting distinctive teaching methodologies, documenting lessons, and using healthy group discussion to support learning.
