At JASCO Applied Sciences, I developed and maintained embedded firmware for high-speed data acquisition, including analog signal capture, memory management, and USB, Ethernet, and serial interfaces. I also brought up hardware by configuring interrupts, clock timing, and peripheral initialization.
At Indiana University, I developed low-level STM32 firmware for a biomedical sensing platform and integrated CAN communication and sensor interfaces. I also implemented FPGA-based preprocessing in Xilinx Vivado to move filtering work off the microcontroller.
At Purdue University, I developed a real-time object detection pipeline on Xilinx FPGA using Python and VHDL, achieving 30 FPS processing. My work has also included ARM BIOS firmware at Kohler and projects in physiological monitoring, secure boot, and Zephyr RTOS sensor systems.
