Nikita Hess

I’m a Front-End developer with commercial experience building scalable, user-centric web applications. I currently develop internal tooling and custom customer solutions at Mastercard, delivering modern, responsive interfaces with Next.js and TypeScript.

I’ve proven end-to-end delivery—from a Gmail-integrated Chrome extension CRM to enterprise front-end and Java back-end services. I’m focused on API integration, legacy-system modernization, and performance optimization, including optimizing SQL queries for better data-access and reporting performance.

At VASS, I developed responsive, high-performance front-end interfaces with React and Next.js while collaborating with UX/UI designers for pixel-perfect implementations. I also designed and maintained Java-based back-end services and integrated RESTful and third-party APIs to extend functionality.

Earlier, at Teamopipe, I built and shipped a Chrome extension that transforms the inbox into a fully functional CRM for sales teams. I led migration of legacy jQuery systems to modern frameworks, and I use Docker, Git, and disciplined Agile/Scrum practices to keep teams moving fast and reliably.
