Nikhat Mamedov

I’m a detail-oriented cybersecurity intern candidate with hands-on experience in penetration testing, web application security, network analysis, and Linux security. I’m focused on identifying and exploiting vulnerabilities using industry-standard tools, then translating findings into clear remediation steps.

In my Cybersecurity Intern role at Cybernetics MMC, I completed end-to-end web application penetration testing on demo banking systems, discovering SQL Injection and XSS issues. I also performed network scanning and service enumeration with Nmap and OSINT (WHOIS, DNS), and gained full vulnerability assessment lifecycle exposure from discovery through exploitation, reporting, and mitigation planning.

As a Cybersecurity Trainee at Holberton School, I build practical skills across OWASP Top 10 techniques, reconnaissance (passive & active, advanced Nmap, NSE scripting), and Wireshark-based packet analysis. I also automate security tasks with Python and Bash/Shell, and I’m actively deepening both offensive and defensive security fundamentals through TryHackMe and PortSwigger Web Security Academy labs.
