At the University Grants Commission, I oversee recurrent and capital payments, prepare financial statements in SAGE Accounting, and maintain the records and schedules supporting public-sector financial administration. I also prepare monthly cash forecasts, perform bank reconciliations, investigate differences, and support cash-flow monitoring.
I've also taught accounting at the University of Jaffna and gained exposure to accounting, EPF, internal audit, banking supervision, and economic research at the Central Bank of Sri Lanka. My academic background includes a BBA in Accounting with a 3.91 GPA and an M.Sc. in Accounting & Finance, with my thesis submitted.
