Nicolas Brun

I’m an entry-level Full Stack Software Engineer with a B.Sc. in Software Engineering from PUCPR and international academic experience at the University of Oulu in Finland. I’ve built my foundation through internships spanning Full Stack development, software architecture, and QA automation, which lets me connect product features to quality and system behavior.

In my QA Engineer Intern role at Furukawa Electronics (TrueWork), I executed manual and automated test suites for a software-driven radio communication platform. I reported and tracked defects through the full development lifecycle and collaborated with engineering teams to accelerate issue resolution, while validating network-related features across multiple environments.

As a Software Architecture & Development Intern at Forestoken, I contributed to backend architecture design for a blockchain-based agroforestry token platform. I worked with senior engineers on system design decisions and backend workflow improvements, gaining hands-on experience with distributed systems concepts and RESTful API design.

In my Full Stack Developer Intern role at MapForest, I developed and maintained React-based web application features integrated with geospatial data platforms and external APIs. I also participated in Agile/SCRUM ceremonies—sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives—and helped deliver end-to-end work from responsive UI components to backend API integrations.
