What I'm looking for

I am looking for a job that offers a collaborative and innovative work culture. I am particularly interested in roles that involve data analysis, machine learning, and consulting. I value opportunities for career growth and the chance to work on challenging projects.

I am an experienced Data Scientist with a strong background in Python and machine learning. In my previous role at BigBear.ai, I built an automated analytics pipeline using Python and PostgreSQL to support live data ingestion from multiple sources. I optimized the code for performance and implemented unit tests to ensure code robustness. Additionally, I led the analytics and forecasting team by planning sprints and providing support to ensure alignment with company needs.

During my time at Wambi, I identified opportunities to improve the quality of care using patient feedback data. I developed an NLP algorithm in Python to classify negative reviews and extract common topics for care improvement. I also built a performance-optimized reporting pipeline in MySQL to communicate critical feedback topics in real-time, reducing care improvement cycles from weeks to on-demand. My insights into user behavior led to the development of automated nudges that improved product usage and productivity.

I have a strong educational background, with a Data Science course from Thinkful and a B.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of California, Davis. I am skilled in programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL, and have experience with software tools like Tableau and PowerBI. I am also proficient in A/B testing and have consulting experience.
