I am unusual in that I use systems thinking to understand the environments, people, and relationships that surround me. It helps me see patterns and things that others often miss, and puts me in an excellent position to build environments where people can be challenged and successful.

Over my career, I have been a consultant, tech leader, executive, coach, mentor, and individual contributor. I started in a traditional organisation, and adopted agile thinking (which was not easy). I have been an early adopter of microservices, and devops, and I have helped others adopt them, where appropriate.

I have operated at managerial, tactical, and strategic levels, depending on what the organisation needs at any given time.
