At Unicorn Systems, I build and operate Java/Spring Boot backend systems in production, diagnosing incidents across microservices, databases, Kubernetes, messaging, and deployments.
I built a standalone diagnostics tool that reduced manual environment health checks from 1–3 hours to about one minute, running roughly 150 parallel checks across business rules, cluster health, metrics, and known Graylog error patterns. I also investigated a silent MongoDB lost-update race and proposed the atomic partial-update approach that became the basis for the fix.
Through my side project Rebusy, I launched an iOS and Android word-puzzle application, building its Java/Spring Boot backend, REST API, PostgreSQL data model, JWT device authentication, leaderboards, and AWS deployment. The app reached around 360 registered users and 60 monthly active users.
Earlier, I was the sole iOS developer for a commercial music app with more than 100,000 downloads, and I have experience in games, web/backend development, and teaching computer science.
