What I'm looking for

I seek a role that allows me to apply trauma-informed practices in a supportive environment, focusing on child and adolescent mental health.

As a passionate Child and Adolescent Psychologist, I have dedicated my career to understanding and addressing the psychological impacts of trauma on young individuals. My recent internship experiences with organizations like Save the Children and SOS Children's Villages have equipped me with a solid foundation in trauma-informed practices and psycho-educational applications. I have developed tools aimed at empowering professionals working with survivors of child exploitation, ensuring that their needs are met with sensitivity and understanding.

My academic journey at the University of Leiden has further honed my skills in advanced psycho-diagnostics and cognitive behavioral therapy. My thesis, which explores the mediating role of empathy in self-regulation and peer status, reflects my commitment to integrating research with practical applications in mental health. I am fluent in Greek and English, with a working knowledge of Dutch, allowing me to connect with diverse populations and provide culturally sensitive care.
