Nash Tefison

@nashtefison

Software engineer at Solumada building a Rust messaging platform for 200+ concurrent users.

What I'm looking for

My current engagements wrap up in November 2026, and I'm available for a new role starting early November 2026. I'm drawn to the Linux and open-source ecosystem as both a user and a builder.

At Solumada, I built SoluChat, a real-time messaging platform using Rust, Axum, and Tokio, deployed on DigitalOcean Ubuntu for more than 200 simultaneous users. I designed its dual-layer permissions system and manage the VPS infrastructure it runs on.

For my Master's thesis at UAZ, I built HeapLens, a Rust and Flutter heap-analysis tool with a lock-free allocator, an async daemon, and a WebSocket protocol. I also fixed three concurrency bugs in the open-source Rust LSP project bacon-ls, with the fixes merged by the maintainer; I'm drawn to Linux and open-source systems work.
