What I'm looking for

I'm looking to lead purchasing, supplier development, localization, tooling, and cost-reduction initiatives for sheet-metal and plastic components.

At Samvardhana Motherson Reydel, I manage purchase activities for sheet-metal stamping and plastic injection-molding components, supporting supplier RFQs, tooling design, prototypes, PPAP/APQP, and imported materials.

I drive localization of imported parts to reduce cost and lead time, develop alternate suppliers, and handle component and tooling cost finalization. My work includes supplier negotiations, vendor development, root-cause analysis using 8D, and new-project costing for molded parts, BOP, fasteners, and standard items.

Previously, I led tool-maintenance, supplier-audit, low-cost automation fixture, mold, press-tool, and prototype-tool development activities at Fleetguard Filters. I bring hands-on experience across injection molds, stamping tools, aluminum die-casting dies, jigs, fixtures, SolidWorks, and ERP systems including Oracle and Empro.
