What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a full-time role where I can own end-to-end data pipelines on AWS, collaborate fully async across timezones, and ship production systems that combine data engineering with applied ML/edge AI.

I'm a Senior Data Engineer with 7 years of experience building and owning production data pipelines at scale. I've worked across insurance (AXA Japan), e-commerce (Dyson Japan), and logistics (Yamato Transport), working with Python, dbt, Databricks, Spark, and AWS across domains like claims processing, finance reporting, and demand forecasting.

Alongside data engineering, I run Sono Studio — an independent engineering studio where I build edge AI and computer vision systems, LLM-powered applications, and real-time interactive installations. It keeps me close to applied ML and modern Python, and pushes me to ship end-to-end systems independently.

I'm comfortable across the full data stack — from pipeline architecture and data modelling to deployment and observability — and I take full ownership of problems from scoping through to delivery.
