I’m a results-driven Data Engineer and Python/PySpark Developer with 4.4 years of experience delivering large-scale SAS-to-PySpark/BigQuery migration projects. I build automation that ingests SAS programs and outputs production-ready PySpark code wrapped in Python functions, removing manual rewrite effort. I also create custom Python libraries to replicate SAS macros, DSOs, and functions using native PySpark constructs.

My work is grounded in correctness: I implemented a validation framework that compares SAS vs. PySpark outputs side-by-side and achieved 100% functional parity across migrated programs. I’ve designed and optimized ETL pipelines using Python, PySpark, and BigQuery SQL, and I continuously extend libraries to support newly discovered SAS logic. I’m collaborative and comfortable reverse-engineering SAS programs to map business logic into equivalent PySpark workflows.

I’m Microsoft Azure Certified and bring strong GCP experience (BigQuery, Dataproc), along with expertise in unit testing, functional testing, and Agile/Scrum delivery. I’m now looking for roles in Python development, PySpark engineering, SAS-to-PySpark migration, or data engineering where I can keep modernizations reliable, scalable, and fast.
