I am a certified Legal & Compliance Auditor and an Enterprise Risk Manager with over five (5) years’ experience in Corporate Law, Employment & Labour Laws, Contract Law, Data Protection Law, Intellectual Property Law, Commercial Law and Insurance Law. I combine strong legal research and writing with practical compliance execution, always working with ethics and professionalism.

I have led compliance improvements that translate into measurable results—such as reducing labour audit compliance budget from KShs 6 million to KShs 600,000 annually (≈ 1000% cost reduction) through stronger internal controls and structured compliance systems. I also established compliance management within the Baking Division, improving resolution speed for compliance issues and strengthening reporting/adoption of compliance initiatives.

In risk and dispute management, I represent the company at Court hearings and tribunals, coordinate underwriting and claimant management, and reduce legal risk through early identification, pre-litigation interventions, and strategic case management. I have supported recovery of outstanding customer debts to improve cash flow and reduce aged receivables, while helping lower HR-related non-compliance cases by 70% through structured exit processes and 100% compliance checks prior to summary dismissals.

Data protection and governance are core to my practice. I successfully led the registration of Mini Nairobi as a Data Handler under the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner Kenya and initiated, drafted and implemented a Data Protection Policy for employees and customers, enhancing legal compliance with data protection requirements by 70%. I am in my final year pursuing Masters in Business Administration, and I’m seeking to work with an organization where my expansive skills will contribute to improved operations.
