What I'm looking for

I am seeking a data-focused role where I can apply statistical modelling and visualization to inform decisions, grow technically, and contribute to a collaborative, evidence-driven team.

I am an Applied Statistics graduate with a strong foundation in statistical modelling, data analysis and research, focused on turning data into actionable insights for organizations.

During my Honours degree I completed coursework in Regression Analysis, Probability Theory, Time Series Analysis and Econometrics, and conducted a final year dissertation assessing the impact of macroeconomic fluctuations on life insurance demand.

In industry I worked as a Statistician at Simbisa Brands where I collected, analyzed and interpreted sales data, identified trends, designed data collection processes, communicated findings to stakeholders and supported organizational strategy.

I am proficient in R, SPSS and Excel, comfortable with data cleaning, visualization and forecasting, and eager to contribute analytical expertise to a data-driven team that values evidence-based decision making.
