Munyaradzi Matindike

I am a Mechatronics and Artificial Intelligence engineer with hands-on experience building robotics prototypes and full-stack software for real-world applications. My work blends mechanical design, embedded systems, computer vision, and backend development to deliver practical, deployable solutions.

At Nesso Systems I designed a modular snake robot for mine collapse search-and-rescue, producing detailed 3D CAD, selecting sensors and actuators, and integrating initial AI/ML vision strategies for hazard and victim detection. I collaborated with mining stakeholders and conducted field visits to align the design with operational needs.

As a software developer at Axis Solutions I optimized payment synchronization, migrated systems to N-tier C# architectures, designed CLEAN-architecture APIs, developed WhatsApp chatbots with payment integration, and implemented worker services, logging, and secure data access patterns. I also taught introductory machine learning and Python to engineering undergraduates, developing labs and mentoring students on practical data projects.

I hold an MSc in Mechatronics & Artificial Intelligence and a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science. I pursue opportunities that allow me to combine robotics, AI, and robust software engineering to build scalable, field-ready systems that address local and industrial challenges.
